Summary

LetsStopAIDS is a Canadian youth-HIV charity that focuses on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging young people and fostering leadership. Since 2004, we have been creating a global network of youth-HIV leaders. LetsStopAIDS is mostly run by volunteers and your contribution will be part of the broader volunteer effort.

Candidates will collaborate closely with the Development Manager and program staff to prepare and submit high-quality grant proposals.

Responsibilities

-Prepare, write, and submit high-quality grant proposals, including letters of inquiry, grant applications, and supporting documents, in collaboration with the Development Manager.

-Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for grant proposals.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in grant writing, demonstrated by a successful track record of securing funding from foundations, government agencies, and other grant-making entities. They must possess strong research, writing, and editing skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A deep passion for our mission of HIV prevention and youth engagement is essential.

Dedication: A commitment of 5-20 hours per week.
