LetsStopAIDS is a Canadian youth-HIV charity that focuses on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging young people and fostering leadership. Since 2004, we have been creating a global network of youth-HIV leaders. 

We are looking for a creative and motivated individual to join our Communications Team as a Content Creator through the YESS Grant initiative. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about storytelling, digital creativity, and social impact. You’ll work closely with our Social Media Content Creator and Communications Team to produce engaging content for our social media platforms, website, and campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling content across our social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
  • Support digital marketing initiatives, including campaign rollouts and analytics tracking Collaborate with the Social Media Content Creator to brainstorm and execute visual and video content
  • Help monitor social media engagement and respond to community interactions
  • Contribute to any other digital communication materials and channels as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas to strengthen our digital presence

Qualifications

  • You have a strong interest in social media, digital marketing, or content creation
  • ⁠You’re familiar with platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and have an eye for trends
  • You’re comfortable using tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite (bonus but not required)
  • You’re proactive, organized, and love collaborating on creative projects

Dedication and Compensation

The position offered is a 6-month contract for a full-time role paid at $17.60/hr based out of our Toronto office. The successful candidate will be required to work from our downtown Toronto office. This role may sometimes require irregular hours, particularly in times of need.
